Still life painting from February 9, 2018 of Pink Magnolias in small light purple creamer/pitcher.
I used brighter colors then I usually do and included magenta and rose madder on my palette. I used a softer brush with a painting medium which makes some painting have a more transparent feel, like watercolors. I usually use stiffer bristle brushes that leave more paint texture.
Oil Painting on Art Spectrum Colorfix Suede - this is a primed pastel paper with a 300 lb watercolor backing.
